Hopefully ( for the shark) that foil doesn't have one of those bayonet style noses on the fuse.

That would most likely brake the foil and or rip it out of the board, no?

With a windfoil these crashes are much less brutal, I done it a big number of times (the fishies which are up to 2m in length are normally somewhere lower, but were very active at the surface this season...) and the only thing you end up with is a new hole in the nose of your board and a little desorientation. I was mostly getting sick of the fact that I got cut short on every almost every single leg before I could enter my jibe...

I had some catapults like this from hitting plastic waste with the foil.

Just guessing: "Ouch"?

Really the shark's fault, though. The kite was on starboard tack.

... ..But on the other hand the shark was on the starboard side so kiters fault.... Anyways, I hope I will never do that - I just dont wanna mess with those killing machines....

Or perhaps kiter's fault. "Overtaking vessel stays clear".

Actually both on the same tack so Sharks fault - Windward boat keep clear.

Windfoil Zone "Are sharks attracted by foilers"
www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.windfoilzone.com/single-post/Are-sharks-attracted-by-kitefoilers-and-windfoilers&ved=2ahUKEwig3ZippPfmAhVLXK0KHZVZDFMQFjABegQICxAG&usg=AOvVaw2tYmWC45zMqRuGiBj_i6dK

I know people on here have hit sharks or big fish and may not have thought anything of it, but be careful ocean foilers.
In all honesty though I'm not sure you can do much to be careful? Your kinda at the sharks mercy.
Are there stickers or something to put on the foil to keep them away. I'm sure anyone flying by on a pryde alu would scare the sharks away pretty quick(maybe not)
