That's youtube, not the video maker. Use a reputable adblocker such as Ublock Origin. I've watched the whole thing without interruption.
I just clicked on the video in the first post, like I do for every other video posted here and do not get ads with them. But the first post was like a reposted video, not the original.
Ads are a function of the poster's channel's popularity and whether the channel is monetized. Click on any of the FlyingDutchman's (Paul van Bellen) videos and you'll likely get ads because his videos get views. Most of the videos posted here have fewer views or aren't monetized and, thus, fly below youtube's ad machine.
The original video was posted on the channel and by the account of the guy above, Gwen. From my interactions with him, nice guy who just has a bunch of fun posting stuff. He's chronicled his journey as his skills have progressed. He's probably making a couple of bucks/Euros from his youtube channel which is fine - it pays for all the cameras he's lost on the bottom somewhere.
