Guessing 1500 x 700x 130 approx 100litres??
If you run the inboard front straps, mast base back reckon you will have a super responsive carving machine there
Keen for more pics and more importantly some feedback as to how it goes
Hope there is a release on the back of the bottom. His Wind/wing 125 doesn't and it's hard to get off the water. On my project list to rectify but by all other measures, great board.
Looks nice. About a year is standard for Alex. He's done great work for the sport with his youth programs.
Humbling session, will need time to dial in. But few clean jibes, was able to tack, very responsive- that's the part I need to improve, conditions were super gusty, weedy and choppy that didn't help.
Don't like tracks.... Foil: mast Tillo custom, fusilage custom, wing/ stab from Gong, have a small collection already, actually should have used diff set today
Which Gong wing? I've got a Veloce XL coming soon for wave windfoiling and winging.
Have curve 1500cm2, veloce 1350 cm2, fluid 700cm2, fluid t 1950 cm2,
Small veloce stab, medium fluid stab and rise small stab
"Wave" has me confused.....
Not many waves in Miami (Key Biscayne). Might be a Miami wave board.

1950cm2 just got, light wind emergency, bit so far pleasant ride
1500cm2 - got best range
1350cm2- more playful, faster
700cm2- too twitchy , can't figure out yet
Rise stab s- gives best control so far.
Fluid m stab- may became fav
Veloce s - not enough feed back
Friend of mine has
Fluid 1500xstab fluid S but longer fusilage(96 vs. my 86), also very good combo.
The beauty of foil, one can ride /enjoy smaller waves, swell. this board should allow me for more aggressive interaction and bigger waves, Miami waves don't have much power but actually a blast on foil, the only issue when low tide... Cabarete on the other hand has some mean ones I'm trying to figure out how to tame... the thinking is for touch downs instead of being an issue to became intentional and part of the ride, for that the bottom shape, length has to be diff, compact., also to handle water starts, uphaul when big shore break or big wave sets when you fall, where bigger board could be a hand full to monuver..

I can't..... the video is in a self quote box so all I see is a mast tip haha
I get wave riding on any kind of foil board, except for windsurf....
miamiwindsurfe, can you uphaul it? Do you have to keep the front foot behind the mast to do it? Looks like a fun ride! Congrats on the new custom board!
Mark_australia, just curious do you windsurf foil or foil anything else? I have seen your sic wave boards you build but not any signs foiling. I added the link below so you can watch it free of the quotes.
I am kinda baffled that anyone would not get it. It is surfing without paddling and without the need for big breaking waves. What's not to like? I can see why many prefer winging for wave riding but it's not like doing it with windsurf foiling gear is WRONG.
It looks like Mark _australia is filling in the void dlee left.
Naw, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt if nothing else for the volume of his helpful tips that are keeping my boards together. His definition of a wave probably isn't the same as many of us given where he lives.
Windfoils in any sort of surf are going to demand a bit more skill than wing, windsurf or pretty much most things. That limits how much of it anyone has seen. I also remember that most of the foil surfing and wingsurfing in waves I saw in the early parts of their explosion were on crap waves. That's not an issue where Mark lives. There are places we know e.g Great Lakes, parts of Florida and your backyard where it makes of ton of sense. In his backyard, probably not so much.
I think things like Diony's video above and Casey's classic WWF videos are informative to people new to the concept. I'd be willing to say that 90% of us on our first day on a windfoil would have been horrified at the thought of taking our meatcleavers into anything other than someplace dead flat.

Glad to hear you consider the Veloce both fast and playful, that's what I'm going for.
I am waiting for them to do a higher aspect wing before going smaller.
We've windfoiled waves up to shoulder high - extreme acceleration DTL, carving hard turns on the wave face back upwind is addictive and superfun .
Comparative wave riding to our local wingers.
Hoping to catch the winter swells on video soon

We're hoping so, too. Got to get the word out! As much fun as our little wind chop is, can't imagine looking down a decent size wave.
That's really interesting, I've never seen it. Plenty of people foil here with wingdings and kite, SUP a bit and prone a bit.
All windsurf foiling is just blasting.
Gwarn, all I was saying is that to my mind the sail is harder to depower and heavier in the hands when just flagging so it does not make as much sense to me as dinging. And I'd never heard of it.
Unlikely to take off here as most of our wave spots are reefy and have cray lines (lobster pot) everywhere. Indeed, horses for courses.

Here's one from 18 months ago that shows basic turns on small waves - I'd like to think we've improved since then
As you know we seldom get waves at Dutchies so when it's on I'm not keen to stay on the beach filming.
I think windfoiling waves is similar to waveriding - you can use sail power/mast foot pressure to carve harder in the turns.

Wow, I'm surprised Mark hasn't seen any of the other wave carving videos that you've posted. The Dutchies crew do way more carving than blasting from the videos I've seen.
Maybe it's time for someone to start a wave carving wind foil thread. I created a 'share the stoke' thread on the wing foil forum for all inspirational wing foiling content. (It's off to a slow start but I will persevere).

Azymuth, surely you have enough content to get things started here.
Wow! I love this kind of conditions! For me the most problem is the shorebreak with the foil, to fight agaisnt it to have enough deep. In the other hand, I saw in your forum you are using a boards with very short nose. I use a Goya Air Bold Pro 105, and for jumping I have the chance to absorv the impact. I have learn to land after the jump first with the pope. If I land horizontally then is very difficult to stop the catapul. Freewave foil is so addictive!!
Update: last Friday got final finish coat and logos. After 4 days of dialing in flat/choppy conditions, the only issue i feel is in take offs, a bit sticky, something need to figure out. I actually took it to the race (Tillo cap Miami), but with 5m2 sail /freeride jumbo foil too slow to follow around the course but gave me some points of reference for speed, angle.. Next weekend, fingers crossed, ocean side with some wind/swell/small waves. Overall board feels like a small regular wave board in many ways, but I can still tack and shlog it even if the wind close to nothing.
