Robby Naish in practice taking time away from wing foiling and getting back to logging time in his campaign as special guest star for the Windsurfer Masters Games at Mounts Bay Sailing Club

Perth's Naish family members spotted training. That is to to say either Steve Schneider (Robby) or maybe Peter Schneider (Randy). Snides is sick of foiling and can't wait to get back on his Wally to clean up at the Masters.

Australian Masters Games - Be There

With the Worlds pushed back another year, this is your chance to race Australia's best on the same water where the 2022/23 Windsurfer World Championships will be run.

If you are 30 or older get your diary sorted for Saturday 9 - Saturday 16 October 2021 for the Australian Master Games on the Swan River in Perth.

This will be the biggest national Class event in 2021. Get all the details in the Notice of Race:

australianmastersgames.com/wp-content/uploads/AMG-NOR.pdf

The Windsurfer LT has been selected as the only windsurf racing class and the event is going to be a ripper with host club Mounts Bay Sailing Club putting on a full program of course, marathon and slalom.

Gender, age and weight divisions mean that old rivalries will be maintained, and new racers will get to experience the Class vibe.

Already there are a dozen entries in the ledger.

The Australian Masters Games will also be a great warmup for the 2022 World Masters Games in Japan.

Entry
Entry fees are great value for a full week of action.
If you enter before July 31 its just $115 (or $105 if you are over 70) for the Games entry plus $80 for the windsurfing component.
And if you get it your entry in by 30th April you'll receive a 'Gold' entry which also includes:

-a chance to win a Samphire Rottnest Getaway for two adults
-priority access at the Games Accreditation Centre
-a special Gold accreditation pass
-a commemorative Games pin (not available via the merchandise range)

Update on Australian Master Games Windsurfing
As of 9 May 2021, 28 have registered.

Discounted Games entry fee of $115 per person or $105 per person for people aged 70+ (plus your sport fee) will increase to $145 and $135 respectively as at 31 July 2021

If you want to win for your state don't let WA dominate the entries! Register today.

I can still see only one Master, Richard Carrington-Smith so he has already won if more Masters don't enter.

We now have all states represented however no one from the 2 territories have entered as yet.

If you know anyone who sails Windsurfer LT in ACT and NT let them know about this upcoming event, we would love to see them out on the Swan River.

If you are coming from interstate don't forget to secure a board and rig (see below).
