First day back on the water since busted ankle on 11th Dec. Only had a cruise on the bay, no wavesailing quite yet.....just got planing with a 6.1 on my EVO92. I was always bored going back and forth before.....but jeez it felt good today

Stoked!

Foot / ankle is really sore though, the bits I injured can only really be used when WS'ing I think and need to be built up. Hard to push upwind on one tack (unfortunately it is the left foot so hard to push upwind in a seabreeze...... but not many left now anyways huh). Seems to be a good kinda sore (tired) not a bad kinda sore.

Good onya Mark, nothing better A, than hitting that water and just cruising away.
Glad you had some squashed air, best we have is Perth Airport right now at 22 knots, and only cos a couple of Jumbo's took off and landed
Take it easy, let the strength come back as your fitness builds. Your going to get those frustrating days
Mine, I reckon everybody in Perth could hear me blowing a gasket each time I tried something and it didn't work[}:)] ( but still working at it)

Spottto that is why I had trouble. I noticed when I got home that all the lead carbonate dust had settled on my sail and board. I could hardly lift them.
Birds were falling out of the sky all around me.
I also feel dumber
