Hi everyone,

Looking for a quote to ship 3 wave sails from Sydney to Christchurch.

Any ideas? Has anyone done this before? Which company did you use? What sort of price?

Thank you!

I would suggest google freight companies in your area.
All freight companies want to know the measurements and weight.
Sea freight there are minimum charges so probably not economic and takes a longer time.
Airfreight may end up cheaper as sails are reasonably light with non urgent service.

There is a EMS postal but limit of 1.5m length.

Good luck

Will be on a plane Sydney to Christchurch the weekend before Christmas.

sure you will have sorted something out sooner. If not let me know.

ps. oversized baggage on planes to nz is full of bicycles, the list of damage to my boards is long- random puncture wounds made by a metal abject 25-32mm in diameter. It is not poor handling, the nose and tail are always fine. It is all the bikes they chuck in with your stuff or some turbulence on the flight that makes the difference.

Thanks for the help. I got a quote from Pack and Send for $198 door to door.

Cheers
