Lately Youtube seems to be dumbing down my video quality.
They're produced in 1920 x 1080 MPEG2 and when I go to play in once it's uploaded the best quality you can set is 720 which is crap.
I never used to have this issue . They would give HQ playback options..
I googled how to set better quality settings when you upload and it says go into upload settings and adjust.. The upload settings don't give an option to choose resolution..grr
Anyone know how to fix this so I can upload them in HQ?

Hi, try to convert your video in mp4 before you upload on youtube. Good luck.

Have they changed their methods lately? I'll give it a go but that's the format I've always used and the problem has only been recently?
MM I just checked and I don't think my video editor gives me that option anyway..

Hey, I have also faced this issue so many times and I didn't find any solution to this. I usually do vlogging, and upload it on my YouTube page. Recently, I have uploaded a vlog of my Muzaffarabad tour packages , and after uploading, the quality of the video gets down. The camera which I am using for shooting videos is Canon which gives the best quality videos and images. I am also finding a solution to this issue.
