Hi all,
I am currently settling in south Sydney (Cronulla) and I am looking forward to unwrap my gear which has been put away for a couple of years.
Can somebody recommend any flat water spot where I can re-shape my skills (if I ever had any!) ? something which works from 15 knts ?
Saw that Tuggerah/Macquarie lake could be interesting. Anything worth it down the south (Cronulla, Wollongong or further down)?
My gear :
RRD Fireride 110L
Gaastra Remedy 6.0
Combat 5.0
Level : 5 jibes out of 10

By the way, I am looking for a 2nd hand whishbone

Thanks for your tips

Kurnell in a NE wind and Darook Park in a southerly. You could also sail Wanda in a NE as the banks are shot and waves non existent at the moment

Come to Kyeemagh when NE is expected, much flatter than Kurnell. Earlier in the afternoon the wind is usually lighter.

Hey Raph, welcome to Cronulla. I also live here and it is amazing :)

I see many people sail on George river in NE, but never tried this spot myself, so not sure how good it is. Looks fun though.

Cheers!

Thanks guys,

I actually popped to Kyeemagh Saturday (before it turned nasty) and saw few guys on the water. Indeed, this looks like what I am looking for at the moment. Will give it a go next time we got some NE.
Will also check the other spots you mentioned.

Hopefully will see you on the water soon !
