Hey I'm headed south from Sydney tomorrow to get to melbourne by Friday. Planning on sailing gerroa tomorrow and looking at the forecast wondering if anyone has any suggestions for somewhere further south for waves on Thursday? Merimbula or even across the border. Cheers

If forecast holds you could be sailing Gerroa early morning but south swell may have passed. I've sailed NE around Mollymook but a bit onshore I recall. There is a longer beach south of Ulladulla (racecourse?) should be X shore.

Post on seabreeze titled Southern NSW regarding Merimbula.

I'm usually chasing the wind on my road trips, had Flat Rock Ballina 20 knot NE at 8am years ago before anyone thought too much about the white sharks.

Thanks mate. Unfortunately the wind didn't get into gerroa today. Will hopefully have some luck at merimbula in the morning. Thanks for the advice
