Hello all,

Sailed all my life, can windsurf but only just, I think some lessons would speed up the learning curve hence I'm wondering if anyone is aware of anyone available on the North Side for lessons.

Thanks,

Tim

Surf connect does I'm sure. If you know the basics is it just more time on the water isn't it. What level are you at and what board do you have. I'm in Brighton and if you want you can sail with me and I can fill you in on the basics. Sailed since the 80s

Hi, I have a Starboard, I think its a GO, I havent used it in a while as Ive been building a house but am just getting my life back and miss the water! I can get on a plain, can't water start, or tack really, or jibe, I can sail up wind. I'll have a look at surf connect but If you are around, someone pointing out the obvious would be helpful.

Hey Tim, have a few sails with Hardcarve but if you find things a bit lumpy bumpy rough down there for getting back into it, just pack up your stuff, jump in the car and come and sail Sandstone with us when the wind next blows, it's pretty safe sailing over a big sand/weed flat and you'll have to try pretty hard to get into trouble. There's usually a few of us around to help you out and we all learned to sail here with input from our peers.
