Buy it!
I have the 95 and the Fox 120.
I use them in choppy water, great boards with good control. Never problem with the heels outside the board.
They are not slower than the Starboard "Futura" in flatwater. In choppy water they are a lot better than the Futura.

Hi

Has anyone used this Fox 95L board with cambered sails?
I am looking for a board with around 60cm to 61cm width to match with my Overdrive 5.1 to go out in 30 to 35 knot of wind and choppy waters.
I am 82KG and a experienced sailor going out on Isonics and Overdrives from 8.6 to 5.1 but struggling when the wind goes over 30knots because of the choppy waters, i am not confortable in slalom boards over 30kntos :(

Any experience and help?

Thanks

I haven't tried the fox yet, but Twan Verseput has done 41 knots on the 95 fox with a severne reflex. He has incredible skills, so perhaps the speed says more about him than about the board, but the fox does seem to work with race sails. The old futura 93 also works in choppy waters and takes race sails very well. Might be an alternative if you're not into matching color combinations (fox with an overdrive is almost a fahion statement!).

Ahahahah.....liked the (fox with an overdrive is almost a fahion statement!)

I used to had the Futura 93 back in the day.....but now only Futura )7 with a width of 67cm :(
I am not worried about the speed, in more than 30kntos i am worried about control and confort on hetic conditions.

Thanks for the reply

ive got me a 95 for a while, used it only with ka race 6.3 and 7.1 and i love it when the water is rough. The only thing that i have to get used to is the smaller tail which gives less lift then slalomboards, so underpowered i even used a new carbon model select s1 pro 35 , 35knots 2sec was very easy and was not even fully powered up. Got a s1 high wind 33 for the 6.3, also nice. A shame i cant compare my z-fin and f-hot fins on the fox ;-(

Hi spridget

Thanks for the reply.
Do you think with a 5.1 3 CAM sail in 35 knots of wind and hard chop the board is still controlable?
I am having a hard time findind a good setup for more than 30knots of wind :(
I have been trying my 5.1 Severne Overdrive with a Exocet WARP 80L board (58cm width) with a 29, 30 and 31cm fins, in high wind but now working....lots of tailwaking.....spinouts and crashing :(
Maybe it is the rider that is sh****yyyyy :)
