Everyone has seen the clips , The first batch arrive in Tassie in about 7 days/
Benefits for some --- Anyone who has a sup and no windsurfing or kiting experiEnce will enjoy capturing the wind , getting up wind and down wind like they have never been able to do before.
Those of us who foil windsurf... get up on the foil with your existing board with Naish wing.
Or best still a SUP foil board of about 120 litres for average weight person. this will be fun ( once mastered).
The wings are very popular and Naish Australia have sold out on first shipments
I will have demo one here ,
Back to the future!
Looks like an inflatable version of the "Wind Weapon" back in the 80's Remember you made me a sail when I made one Geared? There was no one to see me get it air borne at Pitwater followed by the most horrible crash ever, getting tangled up in all the bits of chopped up booms and masts cobbled together as I got pounded with the wind chop and spray from the 35-40 Knots needed to get the cooky thing going. They made it look so easy in the video. Tom Magruder must have been super human The "King" is also a Super Human at 54! He says; "It can kinda do everything" which the demonstrates on his Facebook page.
There's a Wind Weapon thread on this forum somewhere.
The latest incarnation looks like it has less potential for bodily harm.

Looks like all the manufactures are bringing them out, Naish, Duotone and Slingshot all look good.
