How was Ricketts?

I sailed Elwood from about 4:30pm. It was very onshore & water quality close to shore was terrible...but was still a fun once you got past all the weed and rubbish.
First hour at 30-35 kts was just survival sailing on a 4.2m, then it dropped down under 30 knts and it was more manageable.

Drove down to Ocean Grove - With my 4.4 i was in survival mode most of the time. Managed to get a few good surfs in though. Spot was great, cross shore with peaks everywhere and no one around.

Getting myself a 3.7 so next time will be perfect.

Hope we get more of those SWesterlies this winter :)

We should all have a 4.0M, I am say 95kg have a 3.7 and even 3.3m it only gets used once every 10 years but when you want a laugh it's fun

There are few things worse than standing on the shore thinking "I wish I had a smaller sail".
