well the single elim is over and Jaeger finished 4th. Koster won it deservedly and was clearly the best at both jumping and waves.

The thing I can't resolve after watching 3 events in onshore slop is should the double forward be able to have such a bearing on heats?

from a wave riding perspective Jaeger and Alex Mussolini and Koster (today only) have been clearly the best in my mind but it's the guys with the clean doubles that are winning heats that maybe they don't deserve to.

Anyhow irrespective of all that dribble it is great to sit here with a beer or two on a Friday night and watch some great action
