Hi! Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the GA Cross Wing? Preferably in a small size.

I'm thinking of getting a smaller wing in addition to my Unit 5m, and my local shop has a great deal on the GA, but I've never really seen that wing mentioned anywhere.

We have Cross 4.2 and Poison 5.2.
Cross has tons of power and stability, but rattles the leech in 23 knot gusts.
Poison can almost handle 21 before rattling.
Cross 4.2 is more powerful than Naish 4.6, and almost bigger.
Stability and low end power are Cross's attributes.

Thanks! Have you tried any other 2nd gen wings to compare it? Still a bit on the fence if this is one of those wings that has actually been designed well, or just been made for the brand to be on the wing-bandwagon

Our Naish's are gen 2, 4.6 and 6.0.
The 4.2 Cross is used in 13-22 knot winds, 170 lbs. rider on 1580 RRD foil, 105 board.
Most similar weight riders are on 5 meter wings.

Cool! I noticed an extra loop by the handles on the wing. Is it meant for a boom?

Boom or paddle. Most gen 2 have them.

Hello Bennis123,

I have a Crosswing 6.2 and a Poison 4.2 they are great. My only other experience was with an Airush Freewing v1 5m before I decided to go with the Gaastra quiver. I have no regrets on the change. The Freewing was great, but I found that the handle positions were a little bit awkward and the windows were too big, making folding a pain. I got my Gaastras last winter on special and am glad I did. They may be a small step down in quality from Airush, but definitely worth it! I think that loop is for a paddle, but I've never used it. I would buy them again.
