We do! However, occasionally you might read a post that is offensive, and wonder why it's still there.

This is usually because a moderator hasn't got to it yet. Help out by clicking the Vote button or the Report flag to alert us.

The only other option available to content is to preview all posts before publication. Clearly this is not possible as it restricts the speed of communication that the internet is so good for. Moderators scan content as often as possible, but we are not always able to scan posts 24x7.

If you use the thumbs down icon to rate inappropriate material, we are notified and can quickly drill down to obnoxious material.

If you don't vote or report content, then it's up to moderators to read and understand the context of every post to determine if it's worthy of removal. Most of the time (i.e. 99%) people are in the forums to share experiences & help one another. It's very rare that you'll get someone who's not themselves either because of stress, alcohol, agendas .. who knows. Upsets in the forums are short lived. Help us identify inappropriate content by using the thumbs.
