Products: Shimano TCurve Revolution Inshore Rods

The shallow water cousins of Shimano's TCurve Revolution Offshore series, the TCurve Revolution Inshore series, has been expanded with the inclusion of three new rods — two baitcasters and a rock, beach and breakwall spin rod.

Designed by Ian Miller, the baitcasters are suited to heavy freshwater use on species like Murray cod and yellowbelly up to barramundi and jacks, with the slightly longer 632 model being of two-piece design.

The spin rod is ideal for flinging Spanyids and the like at tailor, salmon, bonito and mack tuna, but is versatile enough to indulge in a little bait soaking should the situation warrant it. It is two-piece for ease of transport.

All three new rods are built on Shimano's Legendary TCurve blanks, which thanks to their three ply graphite weave, means they are strong yet incredibly responsive. They feature Pacific Bay Zirconium ring guides, dense EVA grips and graphite reel seats. The minimalist bindings keep the weight down but the performance up, and are a pleasure to use all day long.
