The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania (RYCT) crew led by Elliott Noye has won the 2010 Australian Youth Match Racing Championship at Southport Yacht Club on the Queensland Gold Coast, recording the first-ever victory by a team from outside New South Wales. Noye,?who outsailed some of Australia's most experienced adult match racing yachtsmen in winning this year's Tasmanian Open Match Racing Championship earlier this year, won 14 of his matches in the two round-robins and then went through to win the final yesterday in straight matches.
