Living Doll fits out in Auckland

The newly launched Farr 55, Living Doll, for Melbourne yachtsman Michael Hiatt is completing her fit-out in the Viaduct Harbour, Auckland.
Her first race is expected to be the HSBC Premier Coastal Classic next weekend.
Built by Cookson Boatsof Glenfield, the Farr 55's most noticeable feature is a lack of coachroof. She is flush decked.
That aside, the replacement for a well performed Cookson 50 of the same name, is reasonably standard, with a conservative rig and twin rudders.
She features a conventional keel, with a large bulb. Builder Mick Cookson describes her as a big volume boat with a moderately generous sail plan.
At this juncture, Living Doll is a one-off design and will not be a series like the smaller Cookson 50.
