Kai Leny takes second in Namotu - Naish SUP

Kai Lenny - Naish's new super paddler
Kai Lenny continues to impress in his SUP racing debut at the Namotu World Paddle Challenge this week in Fiji.

Normally at home in a 10ft swell with a paddle in his hand, Lenny has only recently taken to the racing scene; but has done so with a bang, slingshotting himself onto the podium in his first year of competition. Here's what Naish had to say about the recent event in Namotu, Fiji.

After storming to victory in the challenging Surf Slalom race, he and Connor Baxter of Maui were tied for 1st place overall. It all came down to the final Tie-Breaker race which was held on Namotu today.

After a tough battle of the greats, Kai finished with a second place overall. The two-time SUP paddlesurfing World Champion proved that even when riding his Glide 12'6" Javelin race board he is a great force to watch for in the racing events to come.

Congratulations also goes out to Australian race sensation Jake Jensen, who maintained his 4th overall position throughout the entire competition.

Congratulations Team Naish!
