The Maliko Run - From the beginning to the end.

The Maliko Run, definitely in the worlds top 5
We're not sure if it's the worlds number one Stand Up Paddle downwinder run, but it's definitely in the top 5.

The Maliko run goes down the north shore of Maui, from north of Paia to the Kanaha Beach park (Kite beach). You can choose to go right outside the reef for some big rollers, over the reef for some breaking peaks and inside the reef for smaller runners, depending on how you feel. It's an easy drive for the retrieve vehicle and pretty quick if you're doing a two man drop. Plus, it's Maui! Every second 'truck' (That's a ute in aussie language) has a stand up paddle board strapped to the back and if you get stuck anywhere along the run, just walk to the road, stick out your thumb and a friendly SUP paddlers will take you back. You can even check in at either 'Starting the Maliko run', 'Doing the Maliko Run', and 'Finished the Maliko run!' on Facebook. Not many would have the time to check in during a downwinder, but you know, some people can't get help themselves.

The stoke is high, and the wind is always strong. That's what makes the Maliko run awesome.
Check out this video below to see the run in it's entirety, from beginning to end.
