Jericoacoara and its surrounding spots have asserted themselves as THE place to train freestyle over the winter. It offers everything from waves for double loops, perfect stunt ramps for ponchs all the way to glassy flat water for everything else.
This season Max Rowe (Fanatic / North), Andre Paskowski (Fanatic / North) and Jose Estredo (Fanatic / North) made the journey over to the tropical paradise to train for the 2012 season. With howling winds everyday the boys spent the majority of their time training super-powerful freestyle and they managed to capture a lot of it in this incredible movie.
The movie features the sailors giving it everything they have got to capture the greatest moves on camera. It's the first windsurfing trip Paskowski has been on since his battle with cancer and he certainly still has the moves. Rowe is ripping it up on the mirror-flat water of Camocim, floating around air moves with ease. But the star of the show has to be Estredo, launching into gravity defying air chachoos and perfect puneta-burners off the waves. The team also took things a little further with some night freestyle with a flare.
