Why not just change Canopies. Try the Vegas. Once you try them you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner. If you liked the feel of the park, you should love the Vegas. They have addressed a few things in this years model, and made all those doubters that thought they couldn't make it better wrong. Great kite.

KSS has demo's of the Chaos in store at the moment so your welcome to come and try them. Also next week will have the LF demo's in.

Just had an awesome session on the 12 Rebel down at Rye in about 15 knots.My problem with the quality could just be isolated to me ... i do crash hard sometimes... like i said i love the kite but have had issues with the stitching on the leading edge and also the grip on the bar disintergrating . i have found the Rebels to be heavy to fly and relaunch if that makes sense and also found that they weigh heaps more to travel with internationally. Its almost like the material in the leading edge is a bit coarse and has allowed the stitching to pull through it on the seams. The Park felt really light and responsive and relaunched easily. The other option could be something like an Airush ??

Agree with in the loop. Just put them side by side and you will see. If you crash it a lot good luck with other brands. I fly another brand, not built nearly as well, but flies awesome. I don't crash my kites though. Agree try the Vegas, better kite all round in my mind.

Had exactly the same problem with my 2012 rebel mate! Stitching along the whole leading edge was tearing the fabric. Took it to a repair shop and they told me it was a huge problem with the 2012 north kites however North would claim it was being over pumped to avoid warranty payouts. Admittedly id been running 8 psi despite Suggestion on the kite being 6psi, if I bought 6psi of pressure to the bedroom, my misses would kick me out of bed....no one wants a floppy Cock kite. Good thing though is they reinforced the leading edge for 2013 where the stitching runs to hopefully solve this problem....clearly was an issue for them as this is somewhat of an indirect admission of it being so IMO. Also tore my bar to ** after 7 months and had to replace my depower after the same time despite looking after my gear pretty well. New bar for 2013 too so again hope these problems are no longer...got a 2013 Vegas on order so fingers crossed...on the bright side ive got to demo a ** load of kites which has been great for my experience.

Choosing a kite on colour choices has to be the most mincing thing I have ever read on Seabreeze.....

im moving from naish to north this year bc of quality, had too many little tears in canopy and hear north much better.. had great time on the 2012 parks and leaning towards Vegas just want to demo the news ones out first bf i buy them.. very excited!

Moving to North for quality is just plain ridiculous, especially with their lack of warranty cover.....

Good point.... I had not even considered them.... mmmm...i have been lead to believe that they dont have the wind range of a non C kite which reinforces the need to demo all types.. Depends on lots of things but could be exactly right for me... Pretty sure a 9 and 12 would cover most scenarios though. A very interesting option as they are a very proven and relatively unchanged kite. Maybe might also check out the Airush Razor as i think these are similar to the torch??
