Because if you mean Surfer's Paradise then the only place is -> The beach at Surfer's Paradise However, if you mean the Gold Coast then: - Shearwater Esplanade is a good spot, (Broadwater) - Marine Parade, (Broadwater) - Any beach really Just check here for places that do not permit kiting: http://www.seqka.com.au/page/kiting-locations I'm sure there are plenty of other spots but I generally stick to shearwater and occasionally palm beach just cuz I live close to it.
