Alex Sanz is causing havoc again here in Byron....friend has pics of him kiting today in front of wreck car park flying his kite over people walking/standing on footpath and having to duck so they didnt get hit....good publicity considering a possible ban already in motion...he just loves the exposure at the expense of everyone else ...ego obviously over ruling common sense...good on you DH!

3-My kite was nowhere near the carpark the day before
4-it was not 28knts..I was on my 7m
anything over 20knts and I'm on my 5m
5-I think any other kiter seeing how close you were flying your kite
to people standing on the footpath would be amazed at how dumb it was
It's just that they don't say anything....and I probably shouldn't waste my time
either but it will have an affect on the rest of kiters in Byron

Alex is perma-banned from Seabreeze, so don't expect to engage him in conversation here. If you did would you expect to get any more sense out of him? Everyone has a different reality, some more different than others.

Everywhere he hangs out for long he ends up causing trouble for the locals. Happened in Melbourne Sydney The Entrance toowoon bay cairns tweed heads are the locals at Byron going to let him screw that area too?
You know that is very tactically edited. I was there in the car park. Post the whole footage and you will see the kite flying within metres of pedestrians in the car park. Wheelchair included. I could post photos from that angle, but I won't I know what the media could do with them.
The problem was... school holidays on a Saturday, and staying so close to shore with wind less than 10kn. There is no room for gear failure or error, let alone the wind dropping out. The beach is wide open to the west if he tacked that way instead, or just get off the shore a bit more to get the separation. To post that footage and think it can somehow be justified; shows ignorance of the sport. Let alone the long hours the NSWKBA and many of us have been lobbying behind the scenes to keep the area open to kiting. We really are trying to do the right thing by all. Please help us and work co-operatively. Sorry to rant and sound like safety police.
