Hi Guys,

Thinking of doing a downwinder from palmbeach to longreef (or visa versa),

From those in the know any idea why this would not be a good idea. assuming 15 to 20 knots how long do you think this would take?

Thanks Matthew.

Yeh, a bunch of us (about 10) did it a few years back, depends on how many beaches you go into on the way down, (obviously avoid the wind shadowed beaches) but you can do it in less than a hour to Fishermans. If your lucky you will get to see some hammerheads basking out there, its a great downwinder but make sure everyone looks out for everyone else on the way.
Have a good one.

You can count me in. I'm too scared to do it alone.
