Can I ask you guys a question? Have you ever flown the noise kite for any length of time...especially this years model? if not, why the negative comments? If so, why the negative comments? can we keep this section technical and educated or is that too much to ask?

Its too much to ask, as in our day and age people see it as their god given right to put out opinions (BS) without knowing the facts

The pump is sold as an add-on. That sucks. Pumps aren't an optional accessory, they're a necessary component. The company just saved themselves $5 by not throwing in a pump with the deal. Wow. False economics.

mmm I'm not sure there is such a thing as the facts.... Just educated opinions that's all I ask. Has anyone actually flown the new noise and what do they think? Peter what has the pump got anything to do with how the kite flies - although I do agree with you.

Yeah what is it with knocking this guy and the company, should be backing the guy up, hes got his arse on the line starting a new company etc etc and he's an aussie Most kites are copies/hybrids of other designs, so what, ride it first, review it without bias As spoken by the gibbo for and on behalf of the gibbo, the above expressed opinions are the gibbo's and in no way affiliated to BWS or any other liquor store turned kite maker, out

I would like to demo the new kite too, but only if I am allowed to like it or not like it, depending on whether I like it or not, as long as that doesn't upset anyone.....

I have they all go well. BUT the ten is very slow to turn. These kites are for a specific purpose. If you dont use them for that purpose they will be no good to you. BUT # 2 in say that they do work well but not as good as others for riding a twin tip on and boosting!

There have been pretty much 3 main models with a few bridle tweeks along the way over the last 18 months. Alot of crew may have flown the original model when they were first released but there has been significant changes to the kite in terms of new bridle about 6 months ago and construction upgrades etc and a few other minor tweaks. version 1- had benwilsonsurf written on leading edge and tips version 2- had bridle upgrades and now changed and has BWS written on leading edge and tips( not benwilson surf) plus bag has a few extra badges so this is a sign of v2. Version 3- which just was released today has new graphics on wing tips( different colours for different sizes), new scuff guards, new bridles. Kite has a slightly different cut to the canopy above the bar option for depower. logos on inside of canopy aswell as outside and comes with upgrade bag as standard. they arent even landed in oz yet until a few days time so seems weird theres a few opinions about a kite that the public havent even ridden yet!

Ryland same post as on the gear review and my reply is the same. Logo detail and placement surely means jack sh1t to what is a very mature market now. How does the damn thing fly!,

The video made me smile, marketing cliche from start to finish! "we are a family".... would like to give it a try though, but no one flies them here.

"The Noise kite is the #1 surf kite on the market today." Can marketing start any worse than that? ... again, instead of technical details, we get the hype from a marketing guy/girl, who's, I suspect, never flown other kites, or perhaps no kites at all... ... I'd like to fly the kite, though...

Yes they are All sizes on demo as of today at Hammi Hill & Scarbs. PS - Along with the new Drifter - now that is one board I want to see reviewed by some serious surf kiters.

That is one stupid comment. So you didnt like it - it wasnt made for everyone out there. If there was ONE kite out there that everyone thought suited them best there would only be ONE kite out there. I too once thought the world revolved around ME..... then I got giddy an fell off. Guess what we are all individuals .... (chorus) 'YES we are all individuals'.

You should try running a shop for a spell Slave. You would be surprised how many ask "how much would that be if I didnt want the pump" I'm serious - happens all the time. And as for false economics? Im not so sure. BWS were are the first to offer a flash backpack type bag as an optional extra when every other kite company makes it a compulsory add-on to the price you pay. (no they dont give them to you for free ) I ordered 3 of the optional haversack packs in my first order over a year ago. Guess what - Ive still got 1 in stock.

[admin edit: abuse removed] I didn't like the 10m BWS I tried that YOU sell and it makes you upset. So I am not entitled to my opinion of it?

I had the opportunity to kite with a Noise a couple of weeks ago. The session left me very impressed and made the situation (light winds) really enjoyable. The kite ticked every box. My kites are Reos' and I teach on Catalysts'.
