I was on my 7 and John on his 6 in front of the surf club. There was a great wave breaking into the creek with smooth water between shoulder high sets.

It was pretty much due southerly so we went there rather than Clifton.

Saturday could be similar hope to see you out there!

Hey Voitek, Andrew's x 2, John, Deano, (Ozone rider I missed the name of),

i finally got over my acute softness and got out there at about 4pm. thanks to deano for the kind launch assist.

i've not sailed there before, and was loving the smooth water between waves, but found the chop hard as was gusty and my new footstrap positions were no good, so i was flying out of them in the chop, and i found that you can't surf on your knees that well :(

then the wind died and i had to do a 1km walk of shame across all the pippie shells...

but a magic spot, i will definitely try that again in W thru SW and S.

thanks for the heads up on a nice spot,
Kurt.

Cheers for the msg big fella, have always tended to go Carlton on more of a SW direction from experience have found that it turns on and shuts down too quickly when its more S there. Glad a few got out for a thrash!!!
Bring on a sunny sunday and seabreeze tomorrow, and northerlies the next few days!!
