Kovi, what's your secret? Rich girlfriend, some relative left you their fortune, won lotto? Wish i didn't have to work. Very annoyed when it's windy during the week and then nothing during weekend. At least at this stage looks like we might get some wind on saturday. Fingers crossed.

Yeah Saturday looks good and Sunday look like a ripper as well. I'm meant to head off to Buller for the weekend but I'm considering cutting my losses on accomodation and just going to Rose Bud instead. If only there was a spot at Buller to give snow kiting a go!

Haha sorry but was great morning at Brighton, saw bloke pumping up his kite in full suit and tie, was a funny sight, wouldn't have thought to get changed first but maybe that's just me..

There is apparently a possibility for hail on saturday. Has anyone been out kiting during hail? I'm imagining hundreds of icy shards cutting through my canopy. A scary thought

Yes, I know what you mean! All surface tension on the water is broken and the water feels frothed up and super smooth! Not sure about the canopy though. I think it will be quite crowded in Rosebud tomorrow...me included!
