New Bigfoot wheels on our 2 Hire karts in Mackay.

Had 15knots the other day and could ride up on the soft sand. Great fun. Good break from racing!!

Hey Joe what are the tyres? How does the small front wheel steer in soft sand?

hey Mick,

The wheels are a kite buggy big foot wheel. I had to sleeve the stub axle to suit the 20mm bearing that comes on the hubs. they are a slick, and are inflatable. I replaced the front wheel with the big foot front fork and are using the standard rear wheel on the front. This size seems ok as most of the weight is over the rear any way. it is difficult still to start in soft sand, but once you have some speed, you can travel over short areas of real soft sand.

Nice addition and suits the beach hear at Town Bch Mackay. No good for top end speed. 15 knts I could reach around 50kmh with the 4mtr.
