Track looks like my kinda place
so just to clarify, ya gotta be a member of the NSWblokart and Landsailing cub, cool , but can you landsail on it in a landyacht, or can you only blokart on it in a blokart? OR can you landsail on it in a blokart only.
we wouldnt want hillsy get to excited yet
track looks stunning, well done

if you had an advertized event , our clubs PLI would cover us, would that do .
on more important issues how gravelly is that gravel? and as WA is the actual state of origin, can we enter at team ?
im starting to dribble.
maybe you could get a cool avatar too!!

and don't forget a self addressed box for the return trip!

Due to the June Long weekend ...

The Hunter Hawks first official meeting at our new track has been brought forward to 10am, 31st May 2009.

Looking forward to catching up with some new and some longer satnding Hunter Hawks, Sydney Squadron and NSW blokart members on the Day !

New Date: 10am SUNDAY 31st May 2009 - (approx 3 weeks away)

We will hold future meetings on the LAST SUNDAY of each month.

I can't comment on behalf of the Nationals, but to sail at SOO you must be insured (the cheapest way is to join one of the 5x blokart clubs currently in Oz.)

NSW BK Club membership is $30 single per annum, or $60 for the whole family per annum. I'm sure the other clubs are similar.

Is there any serious interest from Perth Club in sending over a team for SOO ?
Let me know if there is, and how many would be intereted ?

Today (28th June 2009) Hunter Hawks held the "Hunter Enduro 09" at the new purpose built race track "Blokart Bay".

Hunter Hawks v Sydney Squadron. 13 Blokarts in total, (7 from Newcastle and
5 from Sydney + 1 x from Gold Coast, racing for Sydney)

Whilst the weather was great(no rain), Wind was patchy, and those without a
5m sail were disadvantage in these conditions.

A big thank-you to fellow Hawks Paul A. & Brian W. for a huge effort behind the scenes, and making the event possible.

Many thanks to volunteers Carolyn H, Venessa G & Corinn L for their great
score keeping.
