First 3 Days are for the FISLY Miniyacht Class (like the LLF, Blokart,X-Sail,Vsail,Potty,Plume Kark,Ludic, Silence, windreamer etc etc ) and remote control landyachts.
The following 5 days are for FISLY Classes 2,3,5,7,8, Promo and Standart - there will be 3 circuits for racing on the beach running simultaneously !

This will be the biggest World Championships ever !

I hope that some pilots from the Southern Hemisphere will come and join in, especially in your minis - LLFs and Blokarts which are easier to transport.
Class 5Promo yachts will be available to rent from the organisers.

So start spreading the word please- you have the invite so get to it folks !

just watched a show on mont saint Michel, it would be worth going just for a day or 2 there, maybe a day trip to jersey
what is the regional wine?

The regional whine is that it's called the English Channel

Normally any wine in France is worth a go as it's so cheap there. St Michels Mount is on my itinerary as I've been to the Cornish one and want to see it's French brother. Should be interesting racing as one of the English Team has done a reccy already and described the beach as being similar to Weston Super Mud (sorry Mare, and it can be) so it's going to rely on a good drying wind to sort the surface between tides.

Apparently we dont have to worry about the tide for the WC - they say it will be out all week and being mid summer -July - it should be rock solid unless it rains ! A bit like at the Euros in Hoylake this yr - Neaps etc .

Any wine will do and yes well worth hdoing the tourist trail - even to travel to some of the D-Day beaches.

Bring it on !

ok , but will the beer be cold, I dont mean euro cold , I mean little icebergs forming aussie cold. I can drink any kinda slop when its like that.
big question , are you allowed to sail on the beach before hand( like a week). every event I been to in Europe, they wouldnt let us on the beach so there was no opportunity to get warmed up at all

Hot or Cold we will try drinking it anyway ! I suspect that you could sail before the event - tides permitting . But then again no one else will probably get to sail on the beach before the event as most folk arrive the day before !

I have to say I really getting excited about this. Just to meet people I've spoken to on this forum. And I certainly don't want to miss the Kart a voile 5.6m class looking at the way the entries are coming in!
