Gizmo SA 2060 Posts	Posted 06/07/2012, 8:12 pm The eBay Zooter yacht looks like the steering set up is not original, that was one of the complaints of that design 'the steering was fragile'. Also the back rest tubing of the seat and the side support bars also look different than original. Here is a video of how the units are assembled.
sabydent Canada 286 Posts	Posted 06/07/2012, 8:59 pm NO! NO! NO! Everything is wrong here. They state "like new condition" which is an outright lie. This Zooter has been heavily modified, the seat, the steering, the stays, etc. The original probabably fell apart, much like mine did. The Zooter was designed to sell, not sail. It will not hold up to any stress and is really quite dangerous. I have a Zooter, it has had to be modified to make it strong enough, and safe enough it is now a "frankenzooter" as well. Do yourself a favour and pass on this item.
Gizmo SA 2060 Posts	Posted 07/07/2012, 9:01 am Just noticed the person with the eBay yacht has lowered the price from $1800 to $1500 and removed the name 'Zooter' from the listing, probably because it cross links now to seabreeze.

sheba QLD 39 Posts	Posted 23/07/2012, 6:19 pm It's good to see people are still wary about the Zooter. I believe that Werb no longer sells them but has moved into making glossy holiday magazines. Guess what, he keeps forgetting to pay his staff!!
