Multiple sails could also create more drag, and as for doing loops and jumps- landing hurts. whats with the talk of banning?- to be banned from a forum you generally need to upset someone first. I thought about grass skis for landyachts a fair while ago- but they are not as efficient as a decent wheel/tyre can be. heavier, more complicated, more drag, cost heaps more. do the experiments with multi sails, and grass skis- try them in comparison to a regular landyacht- and let us know how it works. we dont mind being proven wrong! stephen.

yeh your absolutely right there ..if you pass some one especialy the top forum gye then its on ..thanks for putting it so clearly ..im like a bull in a china shop and then all hell breaks loose .. ..the real thing these days costs so i make models about one sixth of the size as the reynolds numbers still work in scale but even a model is a hell of a lot of work ..i also design hangliders for moyes world championship gliders and my name is prefixed on the csx then updated to the rs and rx and to go further there i have invented a triple surface glider so the under surface can push against the midsurface battern truss like a pnuematic tyre to push against the high pressure undernieth the glider to lower the wetted area with convex undesurfaceing and when its finished it will get 20/1 l/d which yatchs ect will be able to use .. skeatesy

What's to be offended??? Perhaps aesthetics.. I don't believe there is much room for this sort of thing but then again I occasionally bring up subjects which others seem to think shouldn't be in these Threads. None-the-less as long as the subject has some link to Land Sailing it probably (As I have shown in another Thread) has just as much right here as Landyachts Eazy Peezy Wheels. Ask these Questions; Is it offensive? is it abusive? Is it off subject? There probably are other Q's? that could be asked by the administrators. Regardless of how Off The Wall this subject maybe it is someone else ideas, valid or invalid as they maybe. Some people are like the Man that puts his hand on the Stove Top and Screams in pain but to bloody stupid to take the Hand off.. "Don't Look Marj, You'll go Blind". There are a couple of threads that could be classified as against the Principle of Land Sailing but are very interesting and a bit of good fun (Even if the perpetrator could set his Butt afire)---------------------Listening--------------------I can't hear anyone complaining about those?????????????? My point if you don't agree with the thread talk to the administrators or don't open the pages! You already know what is in it. Not only does this Forum give like minds an outlet but distributes information "For All and Sundry" but it is also a place of Mate-ship and acceptance of others, regardless the Race or Creed..
