Does anybody know the thickness of the Allwave's, can't seem to find that info?

Does that really matter if you have the overall volume and you can see the shape and foil of the board from pics? Sure if you emailed a shop they would tell you though. There's a good thread or two on here that might help you. Look good boards.

Yeah, maybe thickness is just a psychological thing, maybe it isn't ?
Have searched the threads here already, but couldn't find any info on thickness.
If the thickness isn't specified on Fanatic's website, I am not sure that the retailers will have that info, unless thay have measured it independently?

I just checked my 8'10 Allwave and it looks to be around 4 1/4" thick.
They have FAT rails that's for sure, but so far I've been pleasantly surprised by the way the rail holds, in fact I think it's one of the magic ingredients of the Allwave, the rails are very forgiving and also add a lot of stability to the board.
Are the 8'6 Allwaves in Oz yet ? - anyone ridden one ?
Can someone compare to the 8'10 ?

Hi guys,
Our demo Fanatic Allwave 9'2" just returned to be measured, it's 124mm thick or 4.88 inches. The thickness is fairly evenly distributed across most of the board and has a very flat deck.
Sweet boards, that seem to confuse most people on their first impression. We sell plenty of them on the strength of a demo ride. Their user friendliness and performance isn't obvious when looking at them in the store.

How does the Allwave 9'2"go on the flat water, or is it a pure surf SUP? (80kg noobie..)

The Allwave is a intermediate wave specific board, it can be paddled on flat water but if your doing a 50/50 mix of wave and flat there are better fanatic boards out there (10' or 10'6" Fly).
The Allwave is fairly manoeuvrable and agile, with not much glide, both characteristics make flat water paddling challenging.
But if your primary focus is wave, and you maybe want to do a little flat water paddling, sure why not!

Monti - if you are after a 50/50 surf/flat water then I would go longer than 9ft 2.....paddling short boards on the flat isn't fun.....you go from side to side with a couple of strokes and it is SLOW. Get a longer SUP (10.5 plus) that you can do both with and still have the stoke 
You are 80kg so I reckon Scarbs SUP has nailed it - 10ft 6 Fly (if you are a Fanatic man)
