I hear good things about the starboard blend, but haven't actually ridden one.
I have a 11'4 x 30 Naish Nalu which with myself (100kg) and daughter (35kg) on board we could paddle reasonably (well the bystander would probably say wobbly and slow) in flat water. In reality this was about the weight limit for any sort of meaningful forward progress.
If your going to have kids climbing around on it - check the deck grip and how abrasion friendly it is - the naish is pretty good from that respect.
