Raz......It isn't hard to be good from time to time in sports. What is tough, is being good every day.

Great paddle tonight by Jonsey especially with stitches in the rear. Cold wet night with a decent breeze. Also a great battle between Ryan and Lincoln with Lincoln snatching the lead with 20m to go.

Thanks swanie!! Great paddle as usual, really surprised by the times, thought we were smashing it tonight was expecting sub 28. Although now that I think about it, Lincoln was chatting to me whilst we were paddling so we can't have been going too hard...

Paddling at 8.86km /h over 4.24km is pretty much smashing it!

Over a minute fifteen slower then the record. Definatly not quick enough!!! Hard to imagine knocking that much time off though in an unassisted paddle.

You guys are posting some amazing times, Do you always start at the same point or do you switch round so you get a tailwind on the way back to the finish? Cheers, Bleachy.

Hi Bleachy Always the same start spot and course regardless of conditions. Even had one night going into 50km/h headwind at the start. PS. no one took off fast.

I've got a feeling we might see a "Hobie" sneaking up the leader board soon!! PS Swanie, didn't you see me take off last night or was I just a blur??

I think that 15k headwind on the return kept the times down. We seem to do better times into the wind for the first 1/2 then coming home with the wind behind really helps when the lactic acid starts. Great race app on Swanies I Pad. Jonesy , perfect technique , allways flying.

I tried to blur you out but you were too close for it to work. Great start though, I think the group as a whole is getting quicker off the mark each week. Swanie had the lead off the start last week!! I couldn't keep up!!!

It's happy days on the Sunny coast, we are all very lucky to have great boards under our feet, a kick ass club President, a diverse motley crew and we are just having fun!! The only thing missing is our fearless leader the Woog..............

Yeah no worries guys, We do the same here, mainly as its too much effort to move haha. I find the headwind on the home straight to be mentally draining! Keep up the good work!
