Hi Everyone
I had a lot of fun shooting and editing this
- And - as always -the vibe at the event was awesome
Great work Matt
Fantastic day, great to see all the smiles and catch up with some really good people - which is captured perfectly in the video.
Cheers
Greg
Great work again Matt.
Love the way you split the two races by using different speeds.
Looking forward to the same event next year.
Great stuff Matt, love your work, you always capture the vibe.
I was kind of reluctant to watch it because I knew it would make me wish I was there but the vid probably would have just shown that I have no technique at all anyway so probably for the best.
Congrats to Marcus, Michelle and all the other place getters and paddlers and to Darren, Todd, Peter, SUPWA and all the other helpers, if you can make it happen next year I will def try to be there.

and thank you Darren and Toddy , and all the other organisers and helpers for such a great event...a great time had by all.
Fantastic Vid as always Matt. You captured the lot!! A great production that promotes our sport - Ive been using it here in the office since its release to get some of the team interested!
Hey Matt,
Great video mate. Very well shot and edited as usual. The day was a lot of fun and it shows in the vid. Captured well!
Hey Greg, do you have the finishing times of all the place getters?
Cheers,
DM
FWIW, I added in the boards from the placegetters that I knew of. Perhaps others can fill in the boards the remaining others were riding too.
Cheers,
DM
Hey Adam, no problems mate, we are all on a learning curve when it comes to running these events. We will take it all on board and adapt for next time.
Without you and the other volunteers the day wouldn't of been possible.
Great vid.. Looks like a great event and good to see conditions that suit these tippy race boards..

Adam, I know first hand how timing can sometimes be chaotic. Thanks for sticking through it and getting us some data. Can't be easy there on your own.
As a thought, might want to maybe check out webscorer for a timing app - they use it back in the pacific northwest to do small boat races where there are upwards of 100 boats on the water at a time. I'm not too familiar with either of the programs (webscorer or racesplitter) but possibly worth the somparison?
Justed added the other boards that we knew, But would be interesting to know which DC models placed.
