Depending on how deep they go into the bay it may make it better, if they dont west of a line from the red chanel marker to cabbage head, then wouldnt it create its own supa bank.........and maybe it would stand up a little more?

Dredging of the channel only guys ! IMO swell will roll throu fine in deeper channel Bay surf will fine and btw its happens every 4 years just this time there trying to make use of smarter placement of sand to benifit surf at no extra cost :) win, win situation. Hope it works!

Last time the dredge dropped sand it created a pretty good bank off N Cronulla. We had one really big swell during the next few months and I watched some legends SUP'n it about 100m out in 7-10 ft swells. Was pretty exciting viewing , especially behind the rock pools. Wont improve baysurf though i wouldnt think. Fingers crossed

You don't want it standing up Mr ShireSUP. Nice and easy does it. Get that shorter SUP going. Then you can head out to Voodoo
