I feel like I'm in some sort of cargo cult seeing Iron Phil's exploits in Fiji. I've had a persistent cold and the weather in Melbourne is just this icy cold drissle. I didn't manage to wake up in time for the downwinder on Sunday, cause I just felt too lousy cold and lazy. I think it's been at least 10 days since I've had a go on my board. Since then I've been clicking on the forum and seeing Namotu come up again and again. I looked it up on Google maps, saw the clear water, could imagine that the water was warm...... I want to be there and i want to be there now. I'm starting to get real sense of the pain OG Sup, and PT Woody must be going through - being out of action for some weeks now. I'm begging the weather, and my bad cold to go away. Please god, just end this lethargy that's taken over me and and give me the energy to get out there and make it alright again

I hear you Oliver, it's seven degrees and freezing here in Tas today, sleet falling in the car park and I am dreaming of Namotu too! I think its better that you dont go, it only makes it worse when you have to come home and the reality hits that the only thing left is the itch of the sunburn on your back. Today was my first day back in the office, I was out surfing on my Sup at Namotu left for two beautiful days a week ago. The left is an awesome wave for Sup, turtles popping up in the take off zone, beautiful colored coral to race over on each wave, warm water!! Oh god I want to go back now! Its going to be a painful wait for summer while I recover from my post Namotu depression. Don't do it to yourself. I keep day dreaming each wave over and over while I am at my desk it's hell.

Oiliver, Best wait till Iron Dill leaves the islands otherwise you will need to congratulate him for his second place win (1st loser) in the Moolaki over 50's or for the biggest reo ever done at cloud break. He can't be having too good a time, seems to be spending a lot of time posting! Things will warm up in the next month or two.
