+1 The best surfing advice was given to me by Woogie 4 years ago when I was surfing out at 1st point Noosa , he told me to slow down and not rush the turns, be patient. He was given the same advice when he was in Hawaii the year before. It really works try it.

+1 Spot on Piros, don't rush in general. Always stuff it up when I rush

"Put the paddle all the way in and then you pull" "Pull the paddle parallel to the centreline instead of the rail" "Have the shaft as vertical as possible, it will help you go straight" Improved my racing out of sight

Be careful who you take advice from. I had been getting some good tips from my "coach" when i first started ie bending my knees a little, how and where to stand & how to use my paddle, it's all going really good til one day this clown who i've never seen before comes up to me and says i'm doing it all wrong,i need to stand straight up and be rigid!! I get clowns like this trying to give me tips all the time. I may struggle a bit when it's crowded but unlike some "Silly Billy's" i know the "road rules"
