A great turnout today for the 3rd Annual King of the Coast Race. Thanks so much all those who travelled up to participate and for supporting such a great cause that is so close to my heart. Also congratulations for all the first time competitors who got out there and had a go today in some tough conditions. You should be really proud of your accomplishments. Congratulations all who paddled !! I'm just waiting for the official results to be finalised and emailed to me tonight. These include times etc. There were over 170 paddlers on the water in total with 30 different divisions and 4 different start times at 2 different locations so it takes time for the entire thing to be complete. I normally like to list every competitor and their result but here's some of the results I know from memory. SUP UNLIMITED MENS (17.5km) Jake Jensen Steve Walker Paul Jones SUP UNLIMITED WOMEN (17.5km) Angela Jackson Alison Fullagar SUP 14' MEN (17.5km) Beau O'Brian Troy Pease Damien Coulter SUP 14' FEMALE (17.5KM) Sue Dorries SUP 12'6" MEN (10km) Lincoln Dews Alan Heald Luke French SUP 12'6" FEMALE (10km) Simone Horsfield Jayne Ryeland Jennie O'Neil FULLS RESULTS LISTING ALL COMPETITORS INCLUDING TIMES TO COME SOON !!

Finally some official results. Thanks for being so patient guys. There were a few clitches with the spotters and time keepers. But all looks correct now. This is just the SUP results. There are over 150 other paddlers on ski's and outriggers too. Once again thanks for your participation and for helping raise much needed funds for our local Childrens Therapy Centre. 10km 12'6" 01:11:01.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male Lincoln Dews 1st 01:22:43.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male Alan Heald 2nd 01:22:48.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male Luke French 3rd 01:25:37.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male Peter Turner 4th 01:26:46.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Female Simone Horsfield 1st 01:27:44.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Female Jayne Ryeland 2nd 01:28:00.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male Hayden Fleming 5th 01:28:50.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male Andrew Owen 6th 01:30:20.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male Derek O'Neil 7th 01:34:09.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male David Gullis 8th 01:36:16.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male John Nawrath 9th 01:36:17.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Male Philip Parker 10th 01:39:09.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Female Jennie O'Neil 3rd 01:42:56.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Female Lorraine Paciullo 4th 01:44:47.0 SUP(S) 12'6 Female Alexandrar Gullis 5th 17.5km 14' 01:45:29.0 SUP(L) 14' Stock Male Beau O'Brian 1st 01:50:56.0 SUP(L) 14' Stock Male Troy Pease 2nd 02:06:39.0 SUP(L) 14' Stock Male Damien Coulter 3rd 02:14:43.0 SUP(L) 14' Stock Male Geoff Breen 4th 02:18:21.0 SUP(L) 14' Stock Female Sue Dorries 1st 17.5km Unlimited 01:50:19.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Jake Jensen 1st 01:53:31.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Steve Walker 2nd 01:54:20.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Paul Jones 3rd 01:56:35.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Steve Quiller 4th 01:57:52.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Mark Huxley 5th 01:58:40.0 SUP(L) Open Women Unlimited Angela Jackson 1st 02:00:21.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Dale Chapman 6th 02:01:49.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Ryan Keck 7th 02:04:44.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Luke King 8th 02:05:34.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited Paul Nottage 9th 02:11:28.0 SUP(L) Open Women Unlimited Alison Fullagar 2nd (14' Board) 02:15:19.0 SUP(L) Open Men Unlimited John Townsend 10th

A Big thank you to "Steve Walker" I had never meet the guy before the race but within 30 minutes after the start we ended up taking the same rumline (3k out to sea)!!!! We chatted, encouraged, hooted each other for two hours, WOW it made the race that much more speical!!!!!! I'm uncertain if going that far out to sea was a good thing for our over all time but the fun we had getting the runners back into Carties was well worth it!!!!! Cheers Steve, Jonesy AKA "the blue eyed mexican"
