Chill Pills Tux !! I assume you are referring to an incident which happened within the last few days, near Torquay Victoria? If so, the king sets have barely been head high, and the recent waves are best described as small, but quite fun and playful... or even verging on gutless (glass half empty approach to life!). In these conditions, you need to understand that even some Pommie leaners will be giving it a crack!.... Share the waves, and wait your turn. Don't take every set because you can.... But there is a chance that it was a blatant drop in !! I don't get too upset on the first one (drop in)... but I'll consider issuing a polite warning. Warning 2 - it usually needs to be as polite and fun as possible, or everything just turns to sh!t very quickly! A small proportion of surfers are "very angry!" when they surf!

I had this guy drop in on me one day. He fell out of the lip and landed on me and we got all tangled up in the wipeout and when we came up I gave him a bit of a blast. His excuse was "I am French ". And ????

Thought you might have been up in Manly with a statement like that Tux. Dosn't matter if someone thinks that a someone else will make a section or not, it doesn't give a person the right to ensure they won't

And what an tired old excuse "I didnt think you were going to make it" is. I've used that one a few times myself .

Yeah, fair enough! Cheeky Pommie ! Mac's a Pommie Bastard! There's the odd Aussie bastard down here who take off super deep, and hope to make it, and blow the entire wave for everyone.... Even worse, there is 1 guy on the coast here who spins around late to take off optimistically deep, and rarely makes it, and then gives you lip later on for dropping in... and most times you can't even work out that you dropped in on him.... it's all in his narrow nimrod mind! Another mate of mine calls him Col, or COL - short for Crook On Life ! He's just an unhappy dude, looking for a bone to pick. I secretly wonder if his wife left him for another surfer, and never told him who, and he thinks any one of us stole his wife... and on top of that, he has that angry look about him, like a guy who hasn't been laid in over 10 years !! Gold !!
