Geez it's tempting. but I have a surf and snowboard trip in the planning for July. I don't know how much I can stretch the relationship
Kadi' making up is the best partyou only live once so just do it like Nike
I've got some serious grovelling to do I'll tell her "that's how I roll"

Just tell her you LOVE HER but if that trick is wearing thin you may have to buy her some jewellery For me I may have to bring the GF along......I am still working angles Boofy - have a few cards still to play but I need to be careful! I will be there but at this stage she is very keen to come as well.

Well thats a much better investment I reckon. Its not ideal to have to buy your way to freedom but still a much preferred option in my book.

for those of you that don't own a tent and have a significant other! cabins around plommer http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/NationalParks/parkAccommodation.aspx?id=N1154 http://www.pointplomer.com.au/index.html the point itself is probably the best place around to teach someone to surf little or no chance of getting in trouble full steamers if you aren't very hardy, water tends to be fine but the wind can get a bit chilly at that time i might flash up there and identify myself if conditions look ok bring more beers than normal as there is a strange beer vortex that exists in that camping ground that seems to empty eskies prematurely.(surely i didn't drink that whole carton last night!!)

Thats not a bad idea. Especially if it was to rain. Looks like it would be around $790 (max) split between us. So if there is 8 of us we would be essentially $100 each - no need to bring all the camping gear. I am more than happy to camp but if its the building I think it is then it would be great. I will do some checking on Tuesday - as I have a busy schedule tom. Nice idea Chrispy.

So who is keen / semi definties for this? I have spoken with the people at PP and the 5 bedder that sleeps 12 is gone the first w/e in June. There is a 3 bedder available - the GREEN HIBISCUS. http://www.pointplomer.com.au/cabins.html It sleeps 8 - 4 singles bunks and 2 doubles. It costs $170 a night - so if it was 6 people it would be $28.33 a night and if couples are thrown in and you get to 8 it would be $21.25 a night - bargain. I am more than happy to camp if the room allocations work against me - like sharing a double with some bloke I met on line as an example . It looks like if you want a cabin you had better get organised asap. I will most probably go the tent option. So who is keen???? I am well keen unless the weather and conditions look absolutely dreadful as the w/e approaches - eg: an east coast low sitting on top of Kempsy with howling easterlies. 1. Ted 2. Ted's chick most probably if its going to be sunny 3. obct 4. Boofy 5. CC 6. CC's chick 7. Chrispy? you will be in charge of evening entertainment - we will keep your vessel filled. 8. Mac? Maybe not if yr Audi though 9. Stuk? - just a short trip for you 10. Jasdeking ? you will need a wetsuit 11. Prawnhead? you know you want to 12. SMH ? long drive but bring your fishing rod!!! 13. asea? Your collection of boards will love as will your wetsuit 14. Lfish - he seems dead keen to show us his new boards in person 15. Billboard - will be allowed to bring a SUP perhaps 16. Kadilak - you can do your snowboard trip as well - adivse yr wife that she could make some money selling pics 17. Simondo - can fly into Port Mac and one of us will pick you up 18 / 19. Doggie & Pup - we know you want to. 20 / 21. LL and CMC - we know you want to try everyones longboards - we look forward to technical discussions on board construction types and fins over a few beers. 22. Kagey? Although he has shown little interest so far...... 23. any other possible starters? This could be the most crowded PP has been since the xmas break!!! Should be lots of waves to go round Maybe we need to sort some sponsorship out - does anyone know a brewer? I think that a minimal of 3 boards should gain you entry into the weekends activities. These 3 boards you should be happy to share out amongst the crew for the ultimate board review complete with pics aka DJ style.

I'm not a definate at this stage because of work. I'm definately not surfing for a few months yet as I've just changed physios and am going to a sports physio . Today he tortured me but reckons I'll be surfing again. A few more months won't kill me. If I do go I'll bring the 10 footer for anyone who wants to have a crack at it. My terms and conditions are nowhere near as harsh as Macs.

I'll be sticking with my camping gear, I've been through some dreadful storms, including one on Frazer island, in that tent and shes done okay so far. Just as a precaution, I always leave the back seats of the rav at home so I can bed down in it if everything gets blown away.
