Geraldton Extreme Sports Weekend 8-9 November 2003 and Abrolhos trip 14, 15, 16 November 2003
Hi there,
Yes it is on again, after last year success with mast high waves and excellent race conditions we have joint forces with all the emergency rescue agencies in and around Geraldton to do it all again and this time to make it the safest and biggest event ever!!!
This year includes a marathon from South gates to the Point Moore, priority slalom at Point Moore, Free style and a Wave Performance (either at Point Moore or on location at Sunset Beach depending on the conditions).
All events are part of the WWA circuit, if you are serious in kicking arse this year you have to come and give your best.
At both evenings we will have parties at the Geraldton Beach Hotel, with Saturday night the Hawaiian Night (Including happy hour) and Sunday night the presentations.
As top of the cream the whole event will be filmed by Natalie (Post cards WA) in and outside the water and if this is not enough you can stay the week in Geraldton and join us for a cruise to the Abrohlos Islands at the weekend of the 14th 15th and 16th of November to eat some fish, (wind) surf some empty breaks and to wind down. Saturday 8 November 2003
1. Skateboard halve pipe 11am-1 pm
2. Marathon Windsurfing and Kiting 1pm – 2pm
3. Big Air Kiting 2pm - 4pm
4. Wave performance Windsurfing 3pm – 7pm

Other Activities:
· Skin Cancer Education Campaign 11am to 2am
· Food and Drink Stands All day
· Windsurf and Kite displays for Public All day
· Video Night and Hawaiian Party 8 pm to late
Sunday 9 November 2003
1. Free Style Kiting 11am-2pm
2. Free Style Windsurfing 1 am- 2pm
3. Priority Windsurf Slalom 2pm to 4pm
4. Wave Performance Windsurfing Finals 4pm to 7pm
Other Activities:
· Food Stands (Sausage sizzle and pancakes) All day
· Kite Flying Demonstrations 10 am – 11 am
· Presentation Night 7.30 pm till 10 pm

Currently we are considering Sunset beach as the location if the waves are happening. However if the waves are small we will hit the gates again.. What is wrong about the gates anyway? The bigger the better and the only place in Gerro with bigger waves is Hells Gate..
Sunset does not get bigger than waste high so if we have it there, you better take your bump and jump board with you...
PS I will be competing this year too!! (And judging... Ha ha ha, just joking )
