I see the magic 50.9 has been posted, however SRM are still 4th on the ladder.

Is this a hangover year from last years premiership?

Will they ever regain their previous lofty position?

Has the bar been lifted too high for them?

just questions .... not stirring the pot or anything

I would never consider a post like this stirring the pot, it's just a clear statement of facts, just ask the West Coast Eagles about premiership hangovers.............. and rumour has it that some un-named SRMers were seen out late night-clubbing in Northbridge?? Only rumours at this stage, and I don't want to feed these rumours in any way Apparently there is an enquiry into the Culture of SRM being considered by the Board of Directors of the GTC

The question arises in my mind, "how long has Mathew Langer been an SRM member".

Methinks only since SRM needed an extra boost to get out of 4th place.

So the answer may be, if they lost their edge they've just resharpened it.

Given recent events I am expecting to see an advert by a bunch of previous Swan River Mobbers expunging (is that a word) their souls about what a great team SRM is and how they have been reborn over the last 12 months.

Hang on, I think I've been reading too many footy reports

As captain of SRM, my trusty deputy [and chairman of selectors] Snides and I have been trying to recruit Dr Langer for many months. We have noted his potential on the training track and more importantly his access to lots of therapeutic musculoskeletal goodies is a bonus for a team with an average age of about 42.3yrs!

Thankfully Dr L finally saw the light when the golden child [Slowey] took him on a pilgrimage to the promised land.

In alignment with the fundamental goals of the GPS-TC [fun and participation] Snides and I are glad to announce our team now numbers eleven members.

If our recent review of the strategic plan comes through a few SRM members will rip 20+ hours tomorrow and top the charts for Feb!

Just had a thought, it was a lonely little beggar.

The SRM haven't lost their edge.

They've lost their brownie points with all the trips crab crushing

Godspeed guys, all you need is a 23.7 alpha, or 155 k's...

Good luck, you'll need it in 12 knots

Think it's your mental arithmetic amiss this time nebs, a 23.7 alpha will only bring them level with the pit crew, they need a 24.3 to beat them. a 20 hour will do it for them as well.

Bugger. Yep you're right Decrep, they need a 25.2 alpha.

Big ask in ideal conditions, let alone what's forecast! Still, if anyone can do it they can.

Playing with my crystal balls I foresee Mr Snides seeking retribution by means of a tighter arc fairly soon, followed by a colosal Yeeehhhhaaaarrrrgggghhh which will be easily heard from afar
