Team looks like Tuesday forecast has fallen into a hole with rain and no wind. But Monday looks great with a strong NE'r So How about we give it one last shot on Monday. This will be an easier more socially focused meet.

great conditions, great turnout.... Looks like the summer of NE winds has arrived... Thanks Des... PS, Jason Juretic is fine after giving us all a scare. Might be in a neck brace for 24hrs as a precaution?....

Good afternoon Des and co - had a great sail friendly crew - the race was a blast and the cold beers were much appreciated and the Sure glad came down for a sail. Still blown away with all the planes and the smell of kerosene out by the runway - a different experience allround. Good to hear the no serious injuries sustained by jason Might catch you down there again over the next few weeks. Cheers Russll

Guys thanks for joining us for another great Fun Race. Today's race was a more relaxed format and even more focused on fun. As hinted in the previous posts it was a relay race. We had a bunch of Santas slogging it out in tough conditions once again. We had our visitors from Canberra Ian and Ben back for their second fun race, and Russell from SA joining the team. Actually quite a few more new faces on the Fun Race Scene. Again a big thanks to WindSurfnSnow for sponsoring the drinks and snacks, it was much appreciated. As usual a few pics below......and Jason I've saved you a few beers mate, glad to hear you're OK.

Tim I reckon you should wear that full Santa outfit more often ( I only supplied the hats! ) you and Ian were in top form for the races. Martin I think you need to have that nose removed from your board it will only end up damaging your mast. We got some was great entertainment while up on the hill sipping our beers. Lot's of good catapaults and wipeouts. Martin 9/10 for speed and intensity, on the catapault that is. Rick didn't go in the race hence no Santa hat, competiton was too tough, he was just slowing down the field with his speed runs. I think that relay format worked well, we may try it again for a full race but we'll drop the need for making contact at the changeover, some of the dismounts were a bit too spectacular...Laf

Hey Jeremy, I'm truly impressed that you managed to do your second post this year Yeah, Lawn Bowling sounds like a lot of fun mate. We have to organise something very soon. My nose job has been passed on to Sam so I let him deal with it. Sam was kind enought to give me a brand spanking new board but I'm not entirely sure what he needed my credit card for You and everyone else on this forum have a Merry X-mas and a happy new year.
