Great new windmeter from Vavuud, no electronics just down load the free app annd plug into your phone or tablet.

I got one of these and it works really well. Now just gotta wait for weendy to release their android app...

I also got one, really happy.

Took awhile to work how to use it with the weendy app, now I know you have to take a photo of the the area you wish to make a report on, then it goes to the Vavuud app to take a wind reading.

Great way to get and share wind readings.

Any idea if you can load or link the upload to a facebook page or website? That function would be pretty useful

with the Weendy app you can share a report to Twitter , Facebook and foursquare.

I have the 1 above.

it works fine, and is small.
fits in a small plastic container so it can live in the glove box without getting trashed.

fan bearing is super smooth.

i'm happy with it

I've the vaaud and so far I'm pretty impressed with it, seems to be reasonably accurate (as far as I can tell). It's also responsive in that when you notice a change in speed the app reflects it.

The app is pretty good and the integration with weendy is good.

Seems really well built and I have no worries if I throw it in the box with the rest of my kit.

That other one look's pretty good with wind direction too.

This one is free.

Most beer bottles, will whistle when angled into the wind, when the strength reaches about 12 kts.

I may not have recalled that accurately after emptying some bottles for testing .... :)
