I have a couple of old C3 formula fins that I want to shorten. I've read one method here:
http://www.peterman.dk/windsurf-DIY-formula-to-slalom-fin.htm
Has any else tried this and is there an easier way?

yep, make up a fibre glass split mould of the base and a wooden jig then you'll never look at discarding an old faithfull fin again

Found a few very useful posts on here. Especially like Sams rubber mould idea. Think I now have plenty of info for the mould. What would be a suitable material for the actual base?
