Have to agree with what he says - I have a love hate relationship with my twinnie - powered up and waves its the best thing I've ever sailed and the closest thing I have had to riding my short surfboards and bottom turns like nothing on earth no matter how hard you push it.

Up and down gusty / onshore and not enough to get planing and its hard work - hard to catch waves and its straight to the beach for the freewave single fin

I thought it was just me - look forward to seeing the onshore wave fins

Thats why I like the look of the SSD 105 thruster/Quad that Stoney has on his web page. I must say though the 104 Fanatic freewave is no slouch on a wave if you tell it whos's boss

My 92 still disappears underwater in no wind (frequently no wind patches at Sellicks and Day street) - hate submarining until the gusts arrive

i still love my single fins. the way i look at it is that we get really nice consistant cross off waves that are of decent size maybe 3-4 times a year? because of work comminments! and i think that the twinnies are only better in those conditions so im happy with my boards for now! i can still rip and have a sweet time when it is cross off with waves! they are a great board for wa or maui or hookipa!
